How Davis Engineering DIFtrollers control temperature

The Davis DIFtrollers give greater control mechanical thermostats and at lower prices than other electronic thermostats. Additionally, the DAVIS DIFtrollers may control plant height through DIF techniques developed at Michigan State University. Also, the Davis DIFtrol 24A computes average temperatures which may be entered directly in the Graphical Tracking models developed at Michigan State.

DIFtrol 23 controls 2 stages of heating, 3 stages of cooling and circulation stage.

DIFtrol 24A controls 2 stages of heating, 4 stages of cooling and circulation stage. Also, included are an ALARM output and an output which is energized during the SUNRISE (DIF) mode. A digital readout of current temperature and readout of average temperatures for night, sunrise, day and 24-hour periods for today plus the previous 8 days is included for use with Graphical Tracking or Integrated Pest Management.
