The Davis DE8PR2 is an 8-zone controller that combines both misting and irrigation capabilities. All decisions are based on time, not on solar input. The DE8PR2 provides much more flexibility and precision than Gemini and Model 1626 controllers from Phytotronics. The major features include:

 A) MISTING MODE:

• ON-Time: 1 to 127 seconds in increments of 1 second.
• REPEAT Interval: 1-127 minutes in increments of 1 minute.
• Hot-Hours, Cool-Hours and Transition-Hours programming can be used to increase misting during the Hot-Hours of the day, and slow the misting during the Cool-Hours of the day. Misting is slowed during the Cool Hours by increasing the REPEAT Interval from 25% to 375% for all zones.

 B) IRRIGATION MODE:

• Multiple Start-Times: Every hour from 1 am to 4 PM.
• Repeat Cycling with each start-time prevents run-off and flooding of containers.
• Irrigate by seconds and minutes from 1-127 with increments of 1 second or 1 minute.
• Misting Program will interrupt irrigation program as needed by the cuttings. The irrigation program will resume at the point of interruption.
